Throughout my career, I have helped hundreds of families and business owners create strategic plans that identify personal and business goals. However, as a Life Insurance and Annuity Certified Professional (LACP), I have always found it difficult to stay in touch with my clients. Fostering relationships with all my clients was not a simple process at all. This is because I would personally reach out to them. Essentially, I would directly email or call them. However, this impeded with my daily schedule because it demanded a lot of my time. 

Also, it is important to note that my client touch points weren’t consistent. I would reach out to them haphazardly. Due to this, I was afraid of being perceived as unpredictable to important clients. It was quite a balancing act to manage my manual communications, while serving my clients at the same time.

I have enough experience to recognize that if a client believes their LACP is out of their sight, then they will be out of their mind. If a client isn’t being contacted by their LACP, then they aren’t going to be fully devoted to requesting their expertise. This is why I put such an importance on communication because nurturing relationships with clients is an essential business building tool. However, consistently communicating through email and phone conversations is easier said than done.

Eventually I had a realization that my approach to communication wasn’t seamless. I truly needed to make a strategic change.
